BOOKING PROCEDURE

Availability & Provisional Bookings - Please phone or e-mail us to check availability and to make a provisional booking. Once your provisional booking has been accepted we will hold it for 10 days until we receive a completed booking form and the appropriate fee. (Please be sure to check availability before booking to ensure that your chosen dates are available).

Completion of Booking Form - Following a provisional booking, please complete the booking form, which can be downloaded from this site or posted to you on request. This should be returned to us within 10 days, together with the full fee (or 50% deposit). Please make cheques payable to Carrabee Lodge. Please try to state your approximate time of arrival on the form to ensure that we are here to greet you or to allow us to confirm arrangements for obtaining the keys. We will then acknowledge receipt and confirm your booking by return, noting the due date for any outstanding balance. Please note that any cancellation of a confirmed booking by the client will result in a cancellation charge as outlined above.

Paying the Balance - Any balance due will be payable 8 weeks before the start of your break. (We do not send an invoice or automatic reminder).

Obtaining the keys - Please call us a few days in advance of your stay to confirm your likely time of arrival and arrangements for obtaining the keys.

Cancellation by the Client of a Confirmed Booking.

Unless the property can be rebooked, a Cancellation Charge will be payable based on the number of days before the holiday start date that the owner receives a cancellation notification (which should be in writing).

The cancellation charge is a percentage of the total cost of the booking as specified in the following table:

Over 90 10%

If the room can be rebooked then the cancellation charge will be 10% of the total cost of the booking.

Cancellation by the Owner of a Confirmed Booking.

If the owner has for any reason to cancel a confirmed booking at any time then the client will receive a full refund of the amount paid by the client to the owner.
